About

Hi, I'm Jae Won Lee, an architecture student based in New York, driven by a commitment to designing spaces that are both deeply contextual and ecologically responsible. After earning my Bachelor of Science in Architecture from the University of Michigan, I am currently pursuing my Master of Architecture (M.Arch) at Columbia University GSAPP. My academic focus centers on innovative architectural systems where technology and ecology coexist.

Beyond technical exploration, I am drawn to the unique narrative of each site, finding ways to integrate traditional tectonic elements into modern, small-scale living spaces. I leverage computational design to address complex environmental and structural challenges, and thrive at the intersection of digital precision and physical making, from modeling in Rhino and Revit to hands-on material prototyping. Welcome to my website, where I share the projects and ongoing explorations from my architectural journey.
